David P. Dureska

Dave is a founding partner of Dureska & Moore.  His practice is concentrated in the areas of patent law and other intellectual property matters. Dave has been a licensed patent attorney for nearly 40-years, previously serving as Patent Counsel for the BF Goodrich Company, now the Goodrich Corporation, before moving into private practice.  Dave is experienced in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications; patentability, trademark registrability, infringement, and right-to-use opinions; internet issues; copyrights; trade secrets; contracts, including confidentiality, development, and licensing agreements; acquisitions and divestitures involving intellectual property; and related intellectual property matters including extensive patent and trademark litigation experience, serving as a witness in local and Federal courts on numerous occasions. Dave has given numerous presentations to client and non-client groups on the subject of Intellectual Property has been selected multiple times by his peers to Ohio Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. Dave is a Canton, Ohio, native, has three sons and five grandchildren, and resides in Jackson Township with his wife, Laura.
